NASTY'S CREW

After seeing the poor fan support at the PV games, I'm calling on "Nasty" to get his crew back together. How bout you PV fans who do get up and yell, band together, bring "Nasty" out of retirement, and show the rest of those non-cheering ol' codjers what they are suppose to be doing to support their team. SO "Nasty" if your out there, and you're listening....how bout gettin the Crew back together for all us real fans.

Thats odd, just spoke to Nasty this evening, with a little proding, he may revive the role.......Lets hear it, Come on Out Nasty.

I was an original in Nasty's Crew when I was in the 8th grade. We cruised on up to Clintwood and rocked the house when PV won the Region D hoops title in 82-83 and then took the show on the road to "Ralph's House." Sorry to say a perfect season was ended by Drewry Mason, but it was a blast. Yes, Nasty's Crew was something special.

Set behind him last night at the game, talked to him a little he was teaching some kids behind him how to chear and ring an ole cowbell [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]. One of them was either his son or grandson, all of them were about 8-9 years old.

It was his son. He doesn't have any grand kids. His son is still pretty young.

Jimmy is old enough to have grandkids but he didn't have children til he was older. He played on the PV State Championship basketball team in 74. He's a good man, don't know how he came by the nickname Nasty.

He's a great guy. Don't know for sure but I'm guessing the Nasty nickname has to do with his behavior at the games. He is a heckler among hecklers, lol.
